Why is Interior Detailing important for all vehicles?

Plastic/Vinyl/Rubber Protection

  • Typically the dashboards, consoles, door panels and more are made of either a plastic, vinyl, or rubber-like material that can also obtain sun damage over time

  • A protectant on these surfaces provide UV protection while also aiding in maintaining the brand-new look to your vehicle

  • If the vehicle is mostly parked outside, we recommend a monthly cleaning and protectant on these surfaces, otherwise a minimum of once every 3 months

Leather Protection

  • Leather interior can be compromised over time from harsh UV rays and normal driving wear

  • Leather also develops drying, cracking and fading over time from improper maintenance of cleaning and conditioning

  • Monthly maintenance on the leather is best, but we recommend a minimum maintenance of once every 3 months

Carpet & Fabric Extracting

  • Our commercial high powered extracting equipment heats up to 210 degrees to get that deep clean to rid your interior from dirt, grime, debris, & spots on carpet & fabric

  • Shampooing and extraction kills germs & bacteria

  • Also helps to eliminate bad odors

  • We recommend shampooing monthly and extraction at least once every 3 months or as those tough spots and stains occur

Why is Exterior Detailing important for all vehicles?

Paint Surface Contamination

Every vehicle is exposed to the outdoor elements at some point. These elements can be from weather, brake dust, industrial fall out, overspray, environmental pollution, pollen and tree sap, and more. These elements will bond themselves to the painted areas and even the windows to your vehicle. Sometimes, if left alone for longer periods of time, red iron oxide speckles, more visible on lighter colored vehicles, can be seen easily. There are two professional ways to decontaminate a vehicle and that is through a chemical decontamination and a clay treatment decontamination. Typically both of these decontamination processes are done simultaneously, the chemical decontamination followed by the clay treatment. Together, these two treatments will eliminate the contaminates also seen by the eye such as tree sap, bug spatter, and bird droppings which can cause permanent damage to a vehicle's paint if left unchecked, while removing all the other contaminates as well and leaving your exterior surface nice and smooth and ready for fresh polish, sealant, or coating.

Paint Scratch Removal

Lickety Split Detailing & Metal Polishing can remove many light surface scratches, swirl marks, scuffs, and marring through the use of advanced polishing techniques by use of a DA polisher and professional polishes, waxes, and sealants. Light scratches, swirl marks, scuffs, and marring all tend to dull a vehicles paint surface, breaks up the ways the light rays beam off your vehicle, and leave your vehicle open to many conditions that can create further damage by the listed contaminations above.

Paint Protection

Wax - will give your vehicle an enhanced shine and protection from the sun's harmful rays. Wax must be reapplied every 3 to 6 weeks in order to be affective.

Paint Sealant - is the longest form of protection you can buy for your vehicle's painted surface. Paint sealant is a synthetic polymer which actually bonds to your painted surface providing the very best protection and shine. Paint sealant should be re-applied every 3 to 6 months.

Ceramic Coating - A silicon dioxide (SiO2) compound that provides significantly better protection than traditional waxes and sealants. It does this through nanotechnology that allows the product to bond to your paint, wheels, glass, and trim at a molecular level. This fills in microscopic pits and grooves in your paint leaving a hydrophobic surface that is so smooth that it actually feels “slick” to the touch. These coatings will last between 1 year and up to approximately 7 years.

Graphene Coating - These coatings are a little more durable and have a few more advantages over the ceramic coatings. The differences are: they have more water beading, more anti-static (which kicks that dust to the curb more easily), harder coating so less susceptible to cracking and chipping, a longer longevity of up to 10 years of protection, less water spotting from hard water or acidic rain, doesn’t hold heat as much on the treated surfaces.
